Hint of Salt Ritz Crackers – Great Low Sodium Crackers
It’s time to entertain! We need some low sodium goodies to serve up as snacks. We can start with some dried fruits and unsalted nuts, add in some popcorn and we have a good start. Low Sodium Swiss and reduced sodium meats would be great, but what can we serve them on? How about some crackers? Wait though! Aren’t they all high in sodium for flavor and preservatives? Yep, most of them are. Today though we have a great solution in these Hint of Salt Ritz Crackers. They are great low sodium crackers.
Entertain Without Guilt
Just because we are low sodium, doesn’t mean we can’t entertain. There are many options that are low sodium. I have a comprehensive list here on my guide to low sodium holiday entertaining. There is also such a thing as low sodium salamis and prosciutto I discovered. I use it to create some delicious low sodium crostini.
These Hint of Salt Ritz are only 30 mg for 5 crackers. Plenty of room to top them with veggies, Swiss cheese, or low sodium bits of meats. You can dip them in my low sodium hummus. No matter how you serve them up, these are great low sodium crackers!
We buy these and they’re good. It’s nice to buy something low sodium in our regular, local grocery store. I wish stores would carry more items. There’s too much sodium in many foods. Many times the manufacturers adds more salt in to cover up using lower quality ingredients in my opinion.

So what can I put on my popcorn similar to salt and not that Morton 50%. I am really doing quite well with my ,Mrs.Dash but for popcorn I just Don know. Also thanks for the pumpkin cookies there delish for a nibble.
I use some I can’t believe it’s not butter spray, garlic powder, salt free chili powder, and a couple shakes of low sodium ground parmesan cheese.
Wheat thins come in a low salt option. I don’t see it on a regular basis in my usual grocery. Heinens in NE Ohio does carry quite a few low sodium foods.
There are low sodium Triscuits too!
