Key Lime Coconut Patties – A Low Sodium Treat
Diets are often about denial. We all know how I feel about that. Sometimes low sodium can be very challenging to find things that are pre-made, quick, easy, and the sodium won’t wreck our daily limits. Gosh darn, sometimes you just want a bite of a sweet! I’ve found a lovely answer. These Key Lime Coconut Patties make a great low sodium treat!
Key Lime + Coconut + Dark Chocolate = Bliss!
I’ll fully admit it. I have a sweet tooth. There are times of the day you just have a craving. So it is so important to have a low sodium treat that you can indulge in without the worry that you will wreck your limit. These key lime coconut patties fit the bill. They come in a 50 mg for a 3 inch by 3 inch square. The Key lime and coconut filling is dipped in dark chocolate. Very similar in taste to a mounds bar, but with a perk of the key lime juice flavoring.
Key Lime is one of my all time favorites. I have a recipe for my key lime energy bites and I will have to post my recipe for low sodium key lime pie.
I found these at TJ Maxx on sale, but I have seen them at Target and World Market. They go perfectly with an afternoon cup of coffee, or with a glass of milk before bedtime.

These sounds like a great snack, will definitely try and hunt these down. My go to snack are Harvest Snaps. Excellent flavors. Some higher in sodium than others but the wasabi ranch, for example, has 65mg per 22 pieces. PS Huge fan of your blog/cookbook! Really appreciate all the info you pass to your readers!

With menires I also have to watch caffeine. I will look for these but without chocolate is better. The Orchard Blend fruit and nut combinations are a great snack too. There are many of the same type. Bev
